Welcome to Pack 995 -- a Cub Scout Pack in the Windemere and Gale Ranch area of San Ramon, CA, chartered by American Legion Mt. Diablo Post 246. Our scouts come from three elementary schools: Hidden Hills, Quail Run, and Live Oak.

Pinewood Derby Inspection and Check In
Date: Friday, January 27, 2012 Time: 5-8 pm
Location: Hidden Hills MPR
Details: All cars must pass inspection and be checked in by 8 pm on Fri. 1/28. Cars will be impounded after check in (i.e., no further modifications can be done after inspection/check in).
Pinewood Derby Race Day
Date: Saturday, January 28, 2012
Time: 10 am - opening ceremonies start
Location: Hidden Hills MPR
Details: Opening ceremonies start at 10 am. Races will start immediately after the opening ceremonies. Tentative schedule of races is below:
Adult - 10:15 am Sibling - 10:45 am
Tiger - 11:15 am
Wolf - 11:45 am
Bear - 12:15 pm
Webelos I & II - 12:45 pm
Championship Race - 1:15 pm
Please note that we will run the races one after the other so no guarantee on the race times. You do not need to be present for your car to race.
Formation of Packs 995, 996, and 997
We are creating a Pack for each of our 3 elementary schools for the 2012-2013 school year as follows:
Pack 995 - Hidden Hills Pack 996 - Quail Run Pack 997 - Live Oak
Current dens have been split between the Packs largely based on the home school of the den leader.
If you have a scout that is in a Pack that is not your home school, you may request a transfer to a den in your home school by contacting Stephanie Demeter at stephanie.demeter@gmail.com by Sun. 2/12/12.
