Service Project
March 19, 2023: As a part of community service, scouts helped clean up the areas around Hidden Hills elementary school.
USS Hornet
March 3, 2023: USS Hornet overnight was a different experience for the scout families. The USS Hornet Museum preserves and honors the legacy of the historic World War II Aircraft Carrier USS Hornet CV-12, and the Apollo Space Program.

Nova Science
February 3, 2023: Scouts learned about rocks, minerals, fossils, volcanoes & more. They made a fossil cast and simulated volcanic eruptions with baking soda, vinegar & dish soap solution.
Pinewood Derby
January 21, 2023: Pack 995 recently concluded the annual Pinewood Derby 2023. With 37 creatively designed race cars, the scouts, their parents and their siblings, had a fun time learning about energy transfer in a fun packed way. There were winners for design and speed.

Red Ribbon @ Hidden Hills
Oct 29| Nov 5: Scouts Participating in Red Ribbon week celebration at Hidden Hills Elementary.
Red Ribbon - Awareness Rally
October 22, 2022: Scouts made posters to emphasize "Celebrate life and Live drug free". Then, they biked 6 miles around the neighborhood to create awareness.
Marshmallow Tower Challenge

October 5, 2022: Scouts led the Pledge of Allegiance at Hidden Hills Elementary. They were excited to share their experience with their friends and teachers at the school.
Popcorn storefront sale @ Lucky's
October 2, 2022: Our scouts did a great job for their first storefront sale. We have more storefront planned for the week ending Oct 8.
Fire Station Visit
September 30, 2022: Scouts learned a lot about rescue services from our firefighters. They got to see the dispatch center and where the firemen slept and ate when on duty. The high point for this visit was the up close look at the fire engine. They loved seeing all of the gadgets and having each explained to them. Our tour ended with some cool treats -ice creams!!!
Night Hike - Rolling Hills Trail
September 24, 2022: It was great weather for a night hike. As we watched the beautiful sunset, we were entertained by bunny hops, evening melodies by northern mocking birds and great performances from California quails. At the end of the hike, kids had a good time at the 6 pillars park. The hike ended with a fabulous nightlight shadow show by our kids.
Las Trampas - Fall Campout
September 17, 2022: Scouts had fun setting up their tent, playing 7 stones, roasting marshmallows and working on their skits. We even had a special guest visiting us - A Raccoon!
September Pack Meet
September 14, 2022: We had our open house and kick started our popcorn sale for the year 2022-23. The scouts had fun playing the popcorn air relay race.
Meridian Day camp : June 13-17
June 13 - 17, 2022: The Cub Scouts joined the day camping at Little Hills Ranch where they made new friends from all over Meridian district. On this fun filled 5-day camp they participated in valuable scout skills/crafts, archery, wood projects, field games, STEM activities.
PACK 995: Chabot Space and Science Center - Overnight Odyssey
May 14, 2022: An exciting overnight adventure trip to space while floating with stars, learning about Artemis lunar mission and bumping in to cool exhibits
