Our scouts did a great job for their storefront and wagon sale during September and October month. Congrats to Arjun Mapara,who is our top seller this year followed by Reyansh and Aadhav in 2nd and 3rd spot respectively.
The popcorn sale is not just about selling popcorn. It's also about promoting Scouting!
Our scouts visited San Ramon Police Department. They learned about the responsibilities of the station, its personnel, and police equipment through activities that are both fun and educational.
Our Scouts "earned their way" this year ! To celebrate our successful popcorn season, the entire Pack was invited to a private jumping party at Pump It Up
An Arrow of Light (AOL) bridging ceremony in Cub Scouts marks the transition from Cub Scouting to Scouts BSA.Our AOL Scouts were welcomed into the next phase of their scouting journey by BSA scouts.
CONGRATULATIONS SCOUTS !
We conducted our annual Pinewood Derby With creatively designed race cars, the scouts, their parents and their siblings, had a fun time learning about energy transfer in a fun packed way. There were winners for design and speed.
We visited the Mt. Diablo Recycling Center to learn about recycling and conservation.We learned what happens to recyclables after we put them in the bin at the recycling center
Scouts Participating in Red Ribbon week celebration at Hidden Hills Elementary.
'Red Ribbon Week' is a national celebration to promote youth education on the dangers of substance abuse
. Our Scouts with commitment and teamwork collected food, which will help feed thousands of individuals and families facing food insecurity during the holiday season and beyond.
Joy Bound Animal Rescue Tour
Our Scouts visited Joy Bound Animal Shelter.Joybound rescues dogs and cats from public animal shelters and adopts them into new homes. We went around the facility,learnt about animal care and community service they offer. At the end we were able to visit a therapy dog.
As part of community service, scouts helped clean up the areas around Hidden Hills elementary school.
Scouts learned a lot about rescue services from our Firefighters. They got to see the dispatch center and where the firemen slept and ate when on duty. The high point for this visit was the up close look at the fire engine. They loved seeing all of the gadgets and having each explained to them.
For Scout Sunday, our scouts visited ' Panchamukha Hanuman Temple'. Kid's learn about different religions each year for Scout Sunday. They also wrote about it after going home. Check for more pictures below.
Our Scouts led the Pledge of Allegiance at Hidden Hills Elementary.
Our Scouts participated in the egg drop challenge. They had so much fun, watching how the egg been dropped from a height.
The Egg Drop Challenge is a popular STEM activity where participants design and build structures to protect a raw egg from breaking when dropped from a height.
Our Scouts baked and decorated the cake by themselves with the help of an adult.They had so much fun making it !
We had our end of year Cub Scout picnic/get together in Bellingham park
Our Scouts and their families had to bag fresh produce for our food distribution programs
Our scouts and their families went to SF Giant's vs Arizona Diamondbacks game in Oracle park.
Scouts and their families had fun setting up their tent, playing games, roasting marshmallows and working on their skits.
